DSPM 0850 Intermediate Algebra (Institutional Credit)
Topics for instruction include rules for exponents, polynomials, rational
expressions, rational equations, quadratic equations and functions, conics, and
radicals. Methods for solving real-world applications are integrated
throughout the course content. Upon earning a grade of "C" or better, the
student become eligible to enter first year college-level mathematics courses.
(Prerequisite: DPSM0800 or entry assessment.)
